“ This restaurant just opened today, 2nd May 2024, and it was a wonderful experience to try their food, which focuses on Southern Thai cuisine. I liked the ambience of the interior decor and its vibe. The seating is cozy and elegant, with a nice blend of wood and brick. Very classy. The food was flavourful and the standout for me was the Pla Yadsai (stuffed fish with mackerel) and the Khao Chae (which is this plate of savory assortments paired with a bowl of rice in fragrant water). The bowl of rice in fragrant flower water was a delightful balance to the savory assortment. I was told this rice in fragrant jasmine water is a dish that originated from the Royal Thai palace. I was also informed that preparation involved more effort than most people realize. And I’m inclined to believe this as the taste was light yet distinct. And I was also told that this dish was served mainly during the hot summers with its cooling effect. (Oh yes, the fragrant jasmine water which the rice is soaked in has a cooler temperature, and is refreshing to the taste). I hope they serve the Khao Chae all year round at this restaurant because Songkhla feels warm all year round so this would be delightful anytime when eaten in Songkhla! Also, this dish would certainly be a highlight at this restaurant! And every great restaurant has at least a few signature dishes that become famous through word-of-mouth recommendations by delighted patrons, thereby getting new customers coming just to try those special dishes! I certainly hope Khao Chae is served here all year round; I’m sure this restaurant would be known for this. Highly recommended! ”

“ A truly wonderful authentic experience at this 3 bedroomed hotel and restaurant. Fabulous location in the heart of Songkla old town, great starting point for walking around the town, eating in the local restaurants and cafes, lots of cool Shops museums and galleries. The renovation of the hotel has been done with such great taste care and thought it’s truly delightful. Staff are wonderful always on hand to help in any way, Songkla breakfast as well as all choices of snacks at the restaurant if one wants, delicious deserts, also a private Sala/ Chill/ reading room for residents of the hotel. What can I say this place is simply wonderful. ”

I highly recommend this place. The location is great, even though parking is a bit challenging. We will surely be back next time we are in Songkhla Old Town. ”

It's clear that attention to detail has been paid to creating a truly inviting atmosphere by the beautiful decorations and the delightful aroma. I wholeheartedly recommend venturing out of your comfort zone and trying something new here. There are rare, local savoury dishes, and definitely 100% worth trying! One thing to note is that street car-parking is a bit challenging, be prepared to circle a few times. However, don't let that deter you! The wonderful food and atmosphere make it absolutely worth the effort. ”
